SALES | Account Executive

About the Position

Join Specialized Logistics' fast-paced, competitive sales team. Help build our growth through the sales of customer freight solutions, backed up by an experienced operations team responsible for booking the loads. Specialized Logistics will give you the training and technology to be successful.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and maintain Specialized Logistics' FTL business nationwide
• Manage existing client relationships
• Prospect for potential leads
• Negotiate price and service contracts with customers and carriers
• Utilize all methods of communications to connect with prospective, current and former customers
• Identify and follow-through with business opportunities for company services
• Create quotes and proposals for company services
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Update and maintain account information
• Convert opportunities into sales revenue
• Collaborate on pricing decisions, supplier selection and timing

Qualifications & Required Skills

• Required - Bachelor's Degree or relevant job experience
• Required - Proven record of generating revenue and customer retention
• Required - Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Required - Strong problem solving skills
• Required - Experience responding to and managing sales and service issues
• Required - Strong presentation skills
• Required - Ability to handle negotiations
• Required - Adaptable to changing client needs
• Required - Strong follow-up and relationship management skills
• Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in sales. Preferred experience in transportation brokerage.
